Why I Love the Psalms – “The Psalms were more
even than a way to express their joys and sorrows to God in God’s own words.
The Psalter explained the life they lived in relation both to the wicked who
opposed them and to the God who sustained them. As the people of God, they
lived in the Psalms.”
